News from the NFL Alumni Annual Meeting at the Super Bowl of Golf.
Once again, NFL Alumni Georgia Chapter President Andrew Bolton was elected to serve on the NFL Alumni Board. Andrew’s election to the Advocacy Board allows the Georgia Chapter and Georgia Alumni members an excellent voice and representation to the NFL Alumni.
Be aware your Georgia Chapter is working hard to represent all Georgia Alumni members locally and nationally.
Former Pro Bowl quarterback Jim Everett is one of three former players who have been elected to serve as new NFL Alumni Board members, Alumni CEO Elvis Gooden announced today.
NFL Alumni is holding its 51st Annual Meeting in Las Vegas this week and representatives from the 35 local Alumni chapters are in attendance along with key Alumni sponsors, partners and presenters.
The new Board members were elected at the Alumni Presidents meeting in Las Vegas on Thursday. In addition to Everett, former Eagles defensive end Lem Burnham and Saints running back Lynell Hamilton were added to the Board.
NFL Alumni operates with three Boards: a Charity/Foundation Board, an Advocacy/Association Board and a five-member Joint Board.
Effective immediately, the five-member Joint Board is as follows: Ron Jaworski, Al Smith, Beasley Reece, Mark Collins and Ron Rice.
The Charity/Foundation Board members are Al Smith (Chairman), Erron Kinney, Ricardo McDonald, Mark Collins, Jim Everett, and Lynell Hamilton.
The Advocacy Board members are Ron Rice (Chairman), Tracy Porter, John Haines, Andrew Bolton, and Lem Burnham.
